
Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen 1577-1622 Saint Fidelis was a Franciscan Capuchin friar during the Protestant Reformation. His life was characterized by charity and he was deeply devoted to the weak and poorest of society. While preaching in defense of the Catholic Faith, Saint Fidelis was martyred by a group of armed men. He was canonized in 1746. Saint Fidelis, Pray for us! |
