
Immaculate Heart of Mary 1945 After the whole world was consecrated to the Most Sweet and Motherly Heart of Mary in 1942, many petitions were sent to the Roman Pontiff to extend the consecration of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to the universal Church as well. In 1945, Pius XII agreed to extend this feast to the whole Church, saying that her Immaculate Heart was “the safe haven in the midst of the tempest that everywhere assails us.” Litany of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy.
